Our Chairman of the Board, M. Hanefi Öksüz, made a statement regarding the issue: “The Anatolia 500 list is, as you know, a general snapshot of Turkey’s economy. As the Kipaş Holding family, we enter this list every year from the top ranks. Kipaş Holding continues to be included in the list with the most companies in Kahramanmaraş. This year, we ranked first in textile production among ISO 500 companies and third in the general ranking with the number of companies on the Anatolia 500 list. We worked hard and continue to work to achieve this success under the conditions of the pandemic period. As you know, in 2020, we also continued our investments and employment without slowing down. Firstly, we will commission the new facilities of Kipaş Paper Enterprises, which is the largest paper investment in Europe and Turkey, established on an area of 320,000 square meters in Aydın Söke Organized Industrial Zone, by the end of this year. We will close the current account deficit arising from Turkey’s $550 million paper imports and provide employment for 1,000 people. Meanwhile, we continue our investments and employment in Kipaş Textile Enterprises in our hometown. Recently, we provided 200 new jobs. Kipaş Textile Enterprises ranked first among cotton-producing textile enterprises in Turkey with its success on the ISO 500 list. We have a starch factory investment in Türkoğlu, Kahramanmaraş, where we will use 1,100 tons of corn daily, thus providing significant support to Kahramanmaraş farmers. In addition, we are starting our paper factory investment producing cleaning products. I sincerely thank all the members of the Kipaş Family who contributed to this success.”
