<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>K\u0130PA\u015e TEKST\u0130L BECAME TURKEY\u2019S \u201cINNOVATION\u201d CHAMPION<\/strong><\/h1>\nCoordinated by the Ministry of Trade and organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly, the Turkey Innovation League identified the most innovative companies in Turkey. This year, a total of 1,507 firms from all sectors participated in the Turkey Innovation League. The winners were determined after a comprehensive evaluation of their R&D and Innovation activities using the IMP3ROVE methodology. In this competition, which includes Turkey\u2019s most competent firms in the field, Kipa\u015f Tekstil ranked first in the Innovation and Organizational Culture category. Kipa\u015f Holding Vice Chairman Ahmet \u00d6ks\u00fcz received the first-place award from President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan.<\/p>\n

KAHRAMANMARA\u015e\u2019S FIRST R&D CENTER<\/strong><\/p>\nKipa\u015f Tekstil established its R&D and innovation spirit in 2010 and formalized it in 2015 by founding the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology-approved R&D Center. This center became the first R&D center in both Kahramanmara\u015f and the region. According to a statement from Kipa\u015f Tekstil:\n\n\u201cWith the establishment of the Kipa\u015f R&D Center, one of the key factors behind Kipa\u015f Tekstil\u2019s position as a pioneer in its sector is its systematic innovation efforts in production technology. Both yarn and fabric production facilities continuously renew production techniques and technologies to manufacture products that meet customer demands and technology trends, supported by R&D projects.\n\nWithin the scope of developing value-added new products, process-technology improvements, and sustainability-efficiency efforts, the Kipa\u015f R&D Center employs 42 researchers, 9 technicians, and 4 support staff from various disciplines such as textile engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, and environmental engineering.\n\nSo far, the R&D Center has completed 78 projects\u2014including 7 T\u00dcB\u0130TAK projects\u2014and is currently running 18 ongoing projects, including 1 Horizon project. Besides its own engineering staff, it collaborates on joint scientific projects with many domestic and international universities, as well as international customers and suppliers.\n\nSince its establishment, Kipa\u015f Tekstil\u2019s R&D Center holds 15 registered patents\u20141 international\u2014and has 19 patent applications under evaluation.
