Kipa\u015f Holding\u2019s subsidiary, Kipa\u015f Tekstil Enterprises, continues its investments in 2021. Preparing to elevate its weaving operations to the highest level with new high-tech machines, Kipa\u015f Tekstil will both increase its production capacity and be able to respond to customer demands with superior quality in the shortest time.<\/p>\n
NEW INVESTMENTS KEEP ACCELERATING<\/strong><\/p>\n In addition to the 255 machines currently operating in the Kipa\u015f Tekstil Weaving Enterprises in Kahramanmara\u015f, the newly constructed facilities spanning 24,000 square meters will add 268 weaving machines, as well as sizing, conical, serial warp, warping, sample warp, bobbin sizing, and raw fabric quality control machines.<\/p>\n Thus, Kipa\u015f Tekstil will produce a total of 30 million meters of fabric annually, including technical textile fabrics, shirting fabrics, trouser fabrics, home textile fabrics, and velvet fabrics.<\/p>\n SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n Kipa\u015f Holding adopts a sustainable production policy in all its areas of activity. In the newly opened Kipa\u015f Weaving Enterprises, all lighting will be carried out with energy-saving LED lights. To benefit from renewable energy sources, the facility roofs will be fully equipped with solar panels. In production, especially in woven fabrics, the use of recycled yarn will be prioritized. Additionally, waste at Kipa\u015f Tekstil Enterprises is carefully sorted and recycled.<\/p>\n INDUSTRY 4.0 TECHNOLOGY<\/strong><\/p>\n At Kipa\u015f Tekstil Weaving Enterprises, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) will be used as part of Industry 4.0 for unmanned transport automation systems in yarn pallets, warp beams, and fabric handling systems. Automation-based storage systems under Industry 4.0 are also being designed to stock warp beams and fabric rolls. Furthermore, robotic automation systems are being designed for the in-house warping process to improve working conditions and the work system.<\/p>\n STRONG PRODUCTION, STRONG ECONOMY<\/strong><\/p>\n Regarding the new investments, Kipa\u015f Holding Board Member and Kipa\u015f Tekstil General Manager Halit G\u00fcm\u00fc\u015fer said:<\/p>\n \u201cWhile investing in our weaving enterprises, we planned to increase our existing production area, quality, and capacity.
