Our group has continued its success by placing four companies in total on the 2020 Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) 500 list, with one company ranking in the top 100.<\/p>\n
Our group, which bases its production and service approach on 100% customer satisfaction, high technology use, respect for the environment and nature, sustainability, and R&D efforts, and also carries out social projects in many fields besides production and employment, once again made its mark on the ISO 500 list.<\/p>\n
Since 1984, transferring its experience from textiles to energy, paper, cement, logistics, and education sectors, our company\u2014one of the most important in Kahramanmara\u015f and Turkey with over 11,000 employees and revenue exceeding 1 billion dollars across six main sectors\u2014ranked 99th in the ISO 500 list with Kipa\u015f Mensucat, while Kipa\u015f Ka\u011f\u0131t Sanayi \u0130\u015fletmeleri A.\u015e ranked 214th, K\u00c7S Kahramanmara\u015f \u00c7imento Beton Sanayi ve Madencilik \u0130\u015fletmeleri A.\u015e ranked 287th, and Maren Mara\u015f Elektrik \u00dcretim San. ve Tic. A.\u015e ranked 494th.<\/span> Our cement production factory, along with 14 concrete plants operating in 7 provinces with a total capacity of 33,000 m\u00b3\/day, is a strong player mainly in the Mediterranean region, Kahramanmara\u015f, and surrounding provinces. K\u00c7S Kipa\u015f \u00c7imento, which was ranked 306th last year, rose 19 places to 287th in the 2020 list.<\/span> The Bat\u0131 Kipa\u015f Paper Factory investment, located on 658 acres in the Ayd\u0131n S\u00f6ke Organized Industrial Zone and valued at 550 million dollars, which will significantly reduce Turkey\u2019s paper imports, is nearing completion. The massive facility is planned to produce approximately 730,000 tons of paper annually and aims to begin production as soon as possible. Regarded as one of the world's leading paper factories in terms of technology and capacity, the plant will also generate its own energy. The factory\u2019s treatment plant has been completed, and it will primarily produce paper types currently imported by Turkey.<\/p>\n Kipa\u015f Ka\u011f\u0131t will make its third investment in the Ayd\u0131n S\u00f6ke Organized Industrial Zone, producing over 600,000 tons of Testliner, Fluting, and packaging paper.<\/p>\n Regarding the group\u2019s success on the ISO 500 list, our Chairman of the Board M. Hanefi \u00d6ks\u00fcz stated:\n\u201cAs Kipa\u015f Holding family, we enter the ISO 500 list among the top ranks every year. While Kipa\u015f Holding includes the most companies from Kahramanmara\u015f on the list, this year we ranked first among textile companies in cotton textile production in Turkey. We will soon put into operation the new facilities of Bat\u0131 Kipa\u015f Paper Enterprises, Europe\u2019s and Turkey\u2019s largest paper investment, located on a 320,000 square meter site in the Ayd\u0131n S\u00f6ke Organized Industrial Zone.\u201d\n\nOur Chairman added:\n\u201cWith this investment, we will cover Turkey\u2019s 550 million dollar current account deficit caused by paper imports and provide employment for one thousand people. We continue our investments and employment in other sectors as well. Kipa\u015f Mensucat, with approximately 6,000 employees and the only company in the ISO 500 list among cotton textile producers in the top 100, has an annual fabric production capacity of 80 million meters and a daily yarn production capacity of 330 tons. Alongside weaving, open-end and ring yarn production, it also produces fabric dyeing-finishing and denim fabric.<\/span><\/p>\n
Kipa\u015f Ka\u011f\u0131t Sanayi \u0130\u015fletmeleri A.\u015e, which employs about 1,000 people and ranked 214th on the list, produces recycling-based Testliner and Fluting paper at its facilities in Kahramanmara\u015f. Additionally, packaging products serving the textile, furniture, glass, and water sectors are produced in Kahramanmara\u015f. Kipa\u015f Ka\u011f\u0131t also owns a corrugated cardboard facility in Boz\u00fcy\u00fck, Bilecik.<\/span><\/p>\n
