As part of the European Mobility Week, the Turkey Green Tales Initiative program was held by the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality.

The program, organized at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Cultural Center, was attended by Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Mayor Hayrettin Güngör,

the Dutch Ambassador to Ankara, Marjanne De Kwaastenıet, and the accompanying delegation who came to Kahramanmaraş to participate.

ollowing the program, the Dutch Ambassador, Netherlands Embassy Economic and Trade Counselor Helene Rekkers, Honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Gaziantep Bora Tezel, and their team paid a courtesy visit to Kipaş Holding Chairman M. Hanefi Öksüz at his home, based on the cooperation between the Dutch Embassy and Kipaş Holding on sustainability and environmental issues.

During the visit, the care and sensitivity Kipaş Holding shows toward the environment and nature in its investments and operations, as well as its sustainability activities, were discussed, and mutual gifts were exchanged afterward.

Regarding the matter, Kipaş Holding Chairman M. Hanefi Öksüz said: “The world is now moving towards green production. Additionally, smart city planning is reducing carbon emissions. The Netherlands is one of the pioneering countries in this regard. It is pleasing for all of us that the honorable ambassador visited our city and, together with Kahramanmaraş Mayor Hayrettin Güngör, initiated a project to reduce vehicle use in traffic and encourage our citizens to use bicycles and walk. They heard about Kipaş Holding’s sensitivity toward the environment and nature in all of its activities, as well as the success of our sustainability efforts, which prompted this visit. We thank them for their kind and meaningful visit.”
