ONCE AGAIN, KİPAŞ HOLDING BECOMES THE PRIDE OF KAHRAMANMARAŞ

Outside of Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, the “Anatolia 500” list—compiled through the collaboration of Ekonomist Magazine and Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB)—ranks the 500 largest companies in Anatolia. In the most recent rankings, Tosçelik took first place, Tiryaki Agro came second, and Kardemir ranked third.
Based on 2020 financial data, Kipaş Holding was represented by seven of its companies on the “Top 500 Companies of Anatolia” list: Kipaş Mensucat, Kipaş Paper Industry Inc., Kipaş Marketing Inc., KÇS Kipaş Cement, Maren Maraş Electricity Inc., and its subsidiaries Akedaş Electricity Retail Inc. and Akedaş Electricity Distribution Inc. With these seven entries, Kipaş Holding became the second holding with the highest number of companies on the list.

As the first company in Kahramanmaraş to establish a Research and Development unit, Kipaş Holding operates with a workforce of 10,000 across industries such as textiles, paper, energy, cement, education, and logistics. The group follows sustainability policies that prioritize environmental protection and adopts a human-centered management approach. Its contribution to the Turkish economy and employment continues to grow each day.

THE SUCCESS OF THE KIPAŞ FAMILY

Kipaş Holding Chairman of the Board, M. Hanefi Öksüz, made the following statement: “As Kipaş Holding, we continue to increase our investments, employment, and support for the national economy day by day. We can say that we have overcome the effects of the pandemic period as Kipaş Holding. This year, 28 companies from our hometown made it into the Anatolia 500 list—seven of them belong to us. The secret behind this success lies in our production policies, which are based on high technology, sustainability, and a commitment to achieving the best under the most challenging conditions. We work together like a family, staying connected and growing through unity. We're also expanding our investments beyond Kahramanmaraş. Our Kipaş Paper facility, which will help close the current account deficit caused by Turkey’s $550 million paper importation and provide employment for 1,000 people, is preparing to move into full-capacity production. Additionally, we continue to expand investments and employment in other sectors. I would like to thank all members of our Kipaş family who contributed to this success.”
