Regarding the event, Deputy Director of Kahramanmaraş Regional Forestry Hakan Doğan stated:

“Kipaş Holding, Kahramanmaraş Provincial Environment Directorate, and Kahramanmaraş Regional Forestry Directorate wanted to organize a tree planting event today. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank Kipaş Holding for their sensitivity to afforestation and the environment and for their donation as part of a 5-year project, amounting to 1 million TRY and 100 thousand saplings annually. Today, at Döngel location, we will plant 3,000 saplings with this event. Although our target for this year was 100,000, we have planted 132,000 saplings so far.”

Our Board Member and General Manager of Kipaş Textile, Halit Gümüşer, also commented:

“At Kipaş Holding, we highly value responsible production, enabling sustainable textile manufacturing, and the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions globally. We are very pleased with the sensitivity shown by the Forestry Directorate and Environment Directorate in this regard. We hope that this project we will carry out over the next 5 years will be successful and become a good example and a positive start for the entire industry.”
